Need a price for laser cut, folded or fabricated parts? Send us your drawing and we’ll get a quote back to you the same day. Kaizen Engineering cuts, folds, welds and assembles parts in mild steel, stainless, aluminium and wear plate from our works in Shaw, Oldham, for large manufacturers and small workshops alike. One-offs, prototypes, short runs and repeat production batches all get the same attention.

How to Get a Quote

1. Email your drawings to sales@kaizen-eng.com, or send them through our contact form.
2. Tell us what you need using the checklist below. The more we know up front, the faster and more accurate the price.
3. We price it properly and come back to you, usually the same day. If anything on the drawing is unclear, we’ll ask rather than guess.

Quote Checklist: What to Send

• Drawings or files in any common engineering format, such as DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES or PDF
• Material and grade, for example S275 or S355 mild steel, 304 or 316 stainless, aluminium, or wear plate
• Thickness for each part
• Quantities, and whether the part repeats (weekly, monthly or as and when)
• Extra operations: folding, welding, assembly, kitting or finishing
• Delivery or collection, with your delivery address and the date you need the parts

What We Can Quote For

• Laser cutting on our 8kW Trumpf fibre laser and Trumpf CO₂ laser: mild steel and stainless up to 25mm, aluminium up to 12mm
• CNC press braking on our 250-tonne, 4-metre Bystronic press brake
• Fabrication with MIG and TIG welding in mild steel and stainless
• Assembly and kitting
• Wear parts in Hardox® wear plate for recycling, handling and processing machinery

We hold S275 and S355 carbon steel, wear plate and 304 and 316 stainless in stock, so a lot of work can go straight onto the machine. Where the job allows, we can turn parts round for same-day or next-day delivery or collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum order?

We’re happy to quote for a single part as well as production batches. Send the drawing and we’ll price it.

Can you quote for a repeat part I already buy elsewhere?

Yes. Plenty of customers use us as a second supplier. Send the drawing and your usual quantities and we’ll give you a straight price.

What if I only have a PDF or a sketch?

Send what you have. A dimensioned PDF is often enough to quote from, and we’ll tell you if we need anything more.

Do you sell steel sheet or plate?

We supply material as part of finished, cut parts. We don’t sell full sheets or plates on their own.
