Kaizen Engineering Services

Kaizen Engineering is a sub-contract laser cutting, press braking, fabrication and assembly company on Thomas Street, Shaw, Oldham, just off the M62. We make steel parts to your drawing, from a single prototype to repeat production runs, for large manufacturers across the UK and for smaller businesses across Greater Manchester and Yorkshire. Because cutting, folding, welding and assembly all happen on one site, most jobs go from flat sheet to a finished part without leaving our works.

Our Services

Laser Cutting

Sub-contract laser cutting on our 8kW Trumpf fibre laser, backed by a Trumpf CO2 machine for thicker plate, with more than 350 hours of cutting capacity every week. We cut mild steel and stainless steel up to 25mm and aluminium up to 12mm. More about laser cutting.

Press Braking and Folding

CNC press braking and sheet metal folding up to 4m wide and up to 20mm thick, so parts cut on our lasers can be folded in the same building. More about press braking.

Steel Fabrication

MIG and TIG welded fabrication in mild steel, stainless steel and wear plate, from our 11,000 sq ft fabrication facility. Typical work includes machine guards, fan housings, chutes, brackets, frames and welded sub-assemblies. More about fabrication.

Mechanical Assembly and Kitting

Assembly, sub-assembly and kitting, with parts grouped, labelled and packed per job, so you take delivery of finished work rather than a box of loose components. More about assembly.

SSAB Steels

Made-to-order parts in SSAB grades such as Hardox® wear steel and Strenx® high-strength steel, up to 25mm thick and up to 3000 x 1500mm per piece. We make finished parts only and don’t sell sheet or plate. More about SSAB steels.

Recycling and Wear Parts

Replacement wear liners, chute and hopper parts, shredder and screen parts, bucket parts and wear strips for waste, recycling and energy-from-waste plants, made to your drawing or sample. More about wear parts.

Getting a Quote
